● Paragon 5 is Coming!CCAR is excited to announce that MLS users will have access to the official beta release of Paragon 5 beginning June 15. This exciting MLS platform will allow you to more effectively manage your listings and business. The new Paragon 5 features and functionality include: ● Cross−platform capability with PC and Mac operating systems ● Cross−browser compatibility with Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome and Opera ● Overall system multi-tasking and inline autocompletion ● New wizard approach for Contact Manager, Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) and user preferences ● New Client Connect module for collaboration between agents and their customers Be one of the first to explore the benefits and tools of this exciting MLS system. ● MLS Online Payments and Internet Explorer 7Those of you still using Internet Explorer 7 as your browser will not be able to complete MLS payments online. Just call CCAR Technical Support at 925.295.1270 and we´ll quickly help you upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 or take your payment over the phone. Yearly MLS and related key fees are due on July 1st, 2011. As we have mentioned previously, it´s important for you to note there are some important changes to the CCAR billing process, most especially the fact that all CCAR billings going forward will be by email. That´s good news, as it helps us live up to our Green commitment and it helps us control costs and keep your fees down. MLS bills went out by email on May 24th. They are also available on your ccartoday.com dashboard along with more detailed information. If you did not receive your statement by email please contact CCAR Member Services at 925.295.1599. |
● New Citation Policy for CCAR MLS RulesThe CCAR Board has approved some significant additions to the Model MLS Rules (additions can be viewed here) that impact every Member. A new Citation Policy, including citable offenses and corresponding fines, takes effect immediately and it´s important for Members to familiarize themselves with it. As a courtesy to all, there will be a 90−day grace period before detailed enforcement and levying of fines. Egregious or bad-faith violations, however will be addressed immediately per the new policy. Just call CCAR Technical Services at 925.295.1270 or email compliance@ccartoday.com. ● Election of the 2012 CCAR Officers and DirectorsThe Election for 2012 CCAR Officers and Directors is coming soon. Eight Board positions are open to serve in 2012. The Candidate Brochure will be available online Friday, June 3 at ccartoday.com/about/elections. Voting will also be done online at ccartoday.com/about/elections beginning July 1st. |
